We invite you to take part in Ladoga Skerries Project – 2016.
Daily duty at the camp of Voluntary Forest Firefighters and patrol are conducted from late May to late August.
The new season is expected to be difficult for various reasons:
– the available data indicates a high probability of abnormally hot and dry weather in the region;
– people, who previously spent their holiday abroad, will rest in Russia, including on Ladoga – that might lead to increasing of the fires number there;
– with a high probability, this year, Avialesookhrana will be deprived of the opportunity to put out fires on Skerries.
In previous years, the number of participants was usually sufficient for normal operation of the camp, but this year because of the crisis, a lot of people will not be able to come, as they will have to work without holiday. That is why your participation in the project will be especially valuable this year.
