We invite volunteers who would like to work as sellers of printed materials and souvenirs in Kamchatka, at visit-centers of the Kronotskiy Biosphere Nature Reserve and Yuzhno-Kamchatskiy Nature Sanctuary.
We need girls and boys easy-going, attentive, friendly, sociable, active, enterprising and experienced in commercial matters. The work is not hard, but requires your commitment and responsible attitude. Assistants will have free time to relax and enjoy the unique beauty of Kamchatka nature!
Delivering by helicopter from Yelizovo to the territory of the Kronotskiy Nature Reserve or the Yuzhno-Kamchatskiy Nature Sanctuary and back and as accommodation at cordons is free of charge. Volunteers should provide themselves with meals on their own, so before going to the protected area you need to take required product minimum.
The length of stay in the territory is not less than one month. Many people want to fly for 2-3 weeks, but this is unrealistic, because, firstly, delivering by helicopter is very expensive, and it is impossible to take a person for two weeks, and secondly, the work of our aviation depends on weather and a few days are needed in reserve, so that we will have some time to take you to the day of your departure from Kamchatka (usually everyone has already a ticket for the return journey with a clearly-pointed date).
Dates of slots: July 1-31, August 1-31, from 1 to 30 September 1-30, 2016.
You need to arrive ahead of time getting to, again, because of the probability of bad weather and uncertainty of getting to the protected territory, and to have in reserve a few days after your official departure from the protected territory. All these “spare” days will not be wasted – in the surroundings of Elizovo and Petropavlovsk, you can see a lot of interesting and unique places. Only climbing up Avachinskiy Volcano is worth something! It can be either one-day or overnight there.
Can you imagine sitting around the campfire at night on its slope enjoying the night lights of Petropavlovsk – is not it great?!!! – or going out to the ocean on marine excursion, during which you will be able to fish and cook delicious fish soup? Being on ship, you can also taste a boiled king crab and sea urchins. There are many other interesting places and events, so it will not be boring for sure!
A lot of volunteers, who have been working as sellers of souvenir products for a few years, do like this. They arrive a few days in advance, and before getting to the protected area or after returning from it, indulge in all the pleasures of tourist life! It is wise, because the journey is not cheap; every year, not everyone will be able to come there, and it is better to have time to see as much as possible at once.
