Clean Forest Biological Station located in Tverskaya Oblast of Russia invites volunteers (camp leaders), a teacher – an organizer of leisure activities, an assistant to the Chief of the camp, and a medical worker to take part in Bear Cub Summer Ecological School.
The main objectives of the Eco-school are: the formation of ecocentric outlook among young generation, education of respect for nature and harmonious coexistence with it, get acquainted with objects of nature and cultural and historical heritage, acquisition of the primary skills of scientific field work.
Traditional research areas of the eco-school is zoology, geobotany, bryology, ecology, archeology, and telmathology.
You will have a unique opportunity to spend time in a great team, to know more about rehabilitation and conservation work conducting by the scientists of Clean Forest Biological Station, to visit the ecological routes and listen to entertaining lectures, learn how specialists of IFAW’s Bear Rescue Center save orphaned bear cubs and much more!
For our part, we provide accommodation, meals and transfers from the train station Staraya Toropa or from the old bus station Toropets.
Dates of the ecological school: 1 slot – July 17- 31, 2 slot – August 7-21, 2016.
