Located on Sakhalin Island the Vostochny Nature Reserve invites volunteers.

You can see the untouched nature of the island, as it was thousands of years ago, meet the world’s largest Steller’s sea eagles, watch for brown bears from close distance, count sea lions and seals at rookeries in the rocky coast, going out to sea on a motor boat, walk through mountain trails in the coastal humid dark coniferous forests, and participate in security raids.

The dates of shifts: May 20 – June 20, June 20 – July 20, and September 20 – October31, 2016.
Accommodation is in a house at the nature reserve cordon (two or three people in each shift), sometimes when you are on the routes – in a tent. Meals and delivery in the nature reserve from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and back will be provided by us.

Guys with construction skills are required – this summer, we plan to put new windows in the house at the cordon and finish overlapping the roof with soft tiles.
Please send your CV (preferably in detail), at the email: sakhalinwatch@gmail.com
