Finval Research Center invites specialists of different specialties, wildlife and adventure travel lovers, photographers to take part in Mangyshlak’s Riddles expedition to Western Kazakhstan.
Participants in this car expedition will collect monitoring scientific data, visit famous nature, historical and archaeological sites in this region will see the little-known, non-touristic, insanely beautiful areas of Central Asia and learn about its rich history and nature.
We can admire chalk mountains and outliers of snow-white and pink colours, fields of tulips, irises and feather grass, the Caspian Sea and azure Lake Shelkar. As beautiful souvenirs we will look for fossil shark teeth, shells and ammonites of the ancient Tethys Sea.
The duration of expedition is 15 days, from April 26 to May 9, 2016.
The route: Aktau – Karagiye Depression – Tract Boszhira – Zhazgurly Depression – Kuandy Depression – Kenderly Gulf – Shetpe villige – Sor Tuzbair – the Baite Cult Complex – Lake Shelkar – Samara – Nizhny Novgorod.
Our expedition is not a touristic trip, so be ready to the ‘floating’ route, unplanned parking places, visiting the remote non-touristic regions.
Living conditions: spending the night in tents, 3 meals a day.
The expedition of Finval Research Center is organized at the conditions of co-financing, the expenses of each participant is 27 thousand rubles (without the cost of your travel to the city of Aktau and return from the last settlements of the route). This sum includes all costs for the organization and conduct of the expedition, and meals for participants of the expedition. We provide you with tents and other equipment.
We are moving along the route using our expedition car.
Participants should arrive in Aktau (Kazakhstan) on the 25th of April or on the 26th in the morning –we pick you up at the airport.
